Free trials, reused.
One person, ten trials, ten new inboxes.
Disban checks the email domain at signup and tells you if it’s disposable, a privacy alias, a test inbox or a real provider, including new disposable domains no list has seen yet.
Built on DNS evidence from 170,000+ live disposable domains · How we classify
Disposable services keep changing their domains and their mail servers. Disban connects the signals behind every signup: known domains, the mail servers they route through, and the operators that run them. So a domain registered this morning can be flagged on its first signup.
Names on the map are real domains from Disban’s DNS observations; operator names are real and cluster sizes are rounded. Hover or tap a cluster for its readout.
One person, ten trials, ten new inboxes.
Bonuses paid out to accounts nobody comes back to.
Signups that never activate make every metric look better than it is.
Example values are placeholders, not benchmarks.
This is exposure, not guaranteed savings. Some disposable signups are real people trying your product, and a flagged signup might never have converted anyway. Disban classifies the domain, not the person’s intent.

The same five steps run on every check. The first match sets the category, and the result names the step and the evidence, so you never have to guess why.
list_matchreviewed_operator_mxalias_providerfree_webmailno_mx_or_addresscleanThe part after the @, exactly as written. Shared namespaces such as dynamic-DNS zones never inherit a parent’s verdict.
Free email (Gmail, Outlook, Proton) and privacy relays (SimpleLogin, Duck) are recognised before anything else, so they’re never called disposable.
The domain, or the domain it belongs to, on the reviewed list of disposable services.
Its mail servers belong to a reviewed disposable operator, so a domain registered this morning is still caught.
Whether the domain can receive mail at all, checked on every request. A typo like gmal.com can’t.

It works without a key, so you can try it before signing up. Only the domain is classified; the part before the @ is never stored.

Illustrative animation using sample addresses, not a live verification or real submission. This example blocks disposable domains; mailbox ownership still requires verification.
Try real checks in your workspace ↗Yes. curl https://disban.io/api/v1/check/yopmail.com returns the category, a disposable flag and the mail-routing status, with no key or signup (10 checks an hour, 30 a day per network). npm install disban and pip install disban make the same call, and AI agents can use the MCP server at https://disban.io/mcp. A free key adds 2,000 checks a month with full evidence.
Gmail, Outlook, Proton Mail and other free providers have their own category and are never called disposable. Privacy relays such as SimpleLogin and Firefox Relay are a separate alias category, so you decide whether to accept them. “Unknown” means there isn’t enough evidence, and you choose how to handle it. If you think a domain is classified wrongly, report it and we review it against current DNS and provider evidence.
Set a short timeout and let the signup through, then hold free credits or rewards until the email is confirmed. The signup guide shows the code. If a live mail-route check can’t finish, the API returns HTTP 503 with a Retry-After header instead of guessing, and the check isn’t charged. The Free beta has no SLA.
A list only knows the domains someone has already added. Disban also looks at where a domain’s mail goes and which operator runs those mail servers, so a new domain on a known disposable operator can be recognised the first time it appears. Every result comes with its reason and the evidence behind it.
Only the domain. The part of the address before the @ is used for the request and never stored. On Free, your check history is kept for 15 days and then deleted.
One HTTP request per signup. Domains with fresh evidence answer straight away; a domain whose mail route hasn’t been checked recently waits up to 2.5 seconds for a live lookup.
